Overview
Many-body and many-agent systems often show highly complex states and behavior. Social systems and their developments are typical and familiar to us. Now in so-called the global era with geometric progress of population, economy, production, consumption and pollution, their complexity looks too much to continue be tamed with traditional way, that is, "to learn history". "To make society simple" may be a historical lesson, or a historical yoke, but it usually delivers unexpected tragedy as byproduct. Can we go beyond that? Now we are equipped with new tools: the agent models, nonlinear sciences, machine learning and artificial intelligence togather with perpetually growing ITC. May this workshop prompt us to create our next challenge!
